Week 6

From Excel to excellent

In this final session, we’re going to learn about how to work with data from the outside world.

We’ll find out what the Command Line is, and we’ll use it to access local files on our computer so that we can do things like visualize that huge spreadsheet your boss dropped on you last week.

We’ll also talk briefly about APIs, and see how they can be used to incorporate real-time information into our programs.

Finally, we’ll wrap things up with a free-for-all data visualization project of your own choosing!
